I founded stayMor.com photography while living in a Chicago apartment back in 1994.  I had left the New York Times and the editorial side of the photo industry and was starting to offer my journalistic eye to families and wedding clients.  By the late 90’s I was a homeowner with a big back yard and was finally able to have a dog, my first as an adult.  I added dog portraits to my list of services.  I was one of the first photographers in the country to promote this concept.  Life circumstances (twins, divorce, moves and breast cancer) put this idea on hold for almost 10 years. 

Eventually, I was fortunate enough to come back to my love for photography and decided to focus my camera only on dogs.  I was always DOG-ga-ga as a child.  Now that I am older and my businesses are all dog-centric, I am often called “The Dog Lady” around my hometown of Wayne, PA.  The FINE ART PETraits are the backbone of stayMor.com but I have added other (all inter-related) dog photography models that are slightly different but feed my soul and drive my passion — photos + dogs = my kind of LOVE!

FINE ART PETraits – This commission takes place in your backyard, park, beach or location of your choosing.  Fetching, rolling and running are all encouraged—sitting is not required. All images are shot in B&W.  Following the session, the artist spends 3-4 weeks editing, sizing, toning, duo-toning and hand-painting a select group of images.  These are then assembled into a unique collage that creates a visual artistic puzzle-piece story about your pet(s).  The fine art composite (click to see samples) is signed, titled and editioned by the artist. 

*Private Group Sessions are available if all “PAWticipants” are in the same geographical region.  Travel & lodging is shared between the individual clients.

PASSPET PHOTOS – Is a “DOGone Studio-on-the-Go” that travels to you!  These photo shoots are pre-booked through your doggie day care facility.  The group sessions are usually tied to a specific HoliDOG with a customized photo product and framed print as part of the package.  The treat bags are delivered back to your day care facility before the upcoming holiday.

*Professionally-styled images in black-and-white with an artistic flair,  creating classic portraits of your pet(s) while at doggie day care.

DOGVILLE STUDIOS – A private studio located at the heart of the stayMor.com enterprises in Wayne, PA, where our moto is “More Dogs Are Better Than One”.  Dogs come for a day of play and once acclimated to the “denvironment”, the formal photo session of sitting & staying is executed in the studio, lit with an oversized soft box and a neutral backdrop (click to see samples).  Following the B&W shoot, time for toning and adding other artisic techniques to the images is needed before posting a selection to an online gallery.  

*Two enlargements (any size up to 11” x 17”) are included.

2DOGstore.com – Offers a database of professional breed specific dog photographs by fine art photographer Stacey P.
